In this piece the artist presents viewers with a personalized version of the Madonna-Whore complex. The artist calls attention to the Black woman's stereotypical role as either a mammy (madonna) or a jezebel (whore)--both roles intended for use by others. The juxtaposition of the image of the Black wet nurse photolitho-printed on a dirty rag and the clip from "The Big Black Tits of Brittany White" serve to acknowledge an irony in the way Black women's bodies have been and continue to be used by White people.
